FOUNDATION

Get to Know Us

The Global Methodist Foundation of North Alabama is a non-profit scholarship fund started by Dr. Matt O'Reilly, Lead Pastor of Christ Church Birmingham. The Foundation exists to fund tuition costs for North Alabama GMC clergy candidates in graduate degree programs at any of the six seminaries recommended by the Global Methodist Church.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

We raise funds through donations from individuals and organizations who share our commitment to supporting the education of our clergy. These funds are then distributed as scholarship awards to eligible applicants in the North Alabama Provisional Conference of the Global Methodist Church. Our goal is to ensure that every clergy candidate is able to go to seminary and flourish without going into debt.
